The year started as usual with the track day planing in Beaufort, obviously some winter projects and the moto festivals in Luxembourg and Bastogne. The first sad news was that our friend and mentor Rob died on cancer. One of his last bevelhead engines that he restored should have really been Mikel’s Round Case. His funeral was one of the saddest day of the year. The first highlight was the Monster Owners Club event in Zolder. Toto did organize like every year his 1st of May party. The next thing was the Guzzi event combined with the “Occasions Market”. Then it was time for the first track day in Francorchamps. Mikel’s 888 project was unfortunately only almost ready and the bike had to wait until later but the trackday was great and almost the entire team did join. Another track day followed in Mettet. The guys enjoyed the final Superbike race at Nuerburg Ring before the SBK at the Ring closed done. Two other track days in Hockenheim and Nuerburgring should follow. Bikers Classics was another great event ... one day we would ride we would participate. But the greatest thing of the year was clearly the trip to the Isle of Man. Finally after Zorz and Wurmi in 1989, Gio,Mikel and Toto made the trip by bike to the Island. The year did end with the EICMA. A great year!
